Service Description
At least 8+ years of Italian studies are recommended. Class 100% in Italian. Students will continue their exploration of the Italian language, grammar and culture, with an emphasis on conversation. As an Italian native, I will also help students to deepen their understanding of Italian culture, way of thinking and current events. Students will become proficient both in the intricacies of the language and the unique Italian way of life. Books needed for class and homework: Reading and Conversation: "Qua e là per l'Italia - Viaggio attraverso le regioni italiane"; M. Cusimano; L. Ziglio; Alma Edizioni. Grammar: "Grammatica della lingua italiana per stranieri - DI BASE"; R. Tartaglione; A. Benincasa; Alma Edizioni. General class layout: Lesson time will be dedicated to homework correction, grammar review and exercises and reading and conversation following the class textbook. When time allows, word and grammar games will be introduced to reinforce understanding and usage of the language, reading and viewing of short fun videos to strengthen acquired language and grammar concepts.

Cancellations and Refunds IMPORTANT! Please submit your request in writing to: Francesca@myadultedschool.com Subject: CANCELLATION* *(yes, all caps so I notice!) === === === If you change your mind: • Full refunds will be issued when requested no later than three days (72 hours) prior to the start of the class, course, or workshop*. Please note that a $15.00 processing fee will apply. • No refunds will be issued after the start of the course or workshop. HOWEVER: • My Adult Ed School is open to apply your registration fees to any other class, course, or workshop of your choosing within the calendar year. If My Adult Ed School changes their mind: • If a course or a workshop is canceled for any reason, a full refund will be issued (no processing fees). • Instructor Change: If there is an instructor change for the entire duration of the course, students can request a refund up to three days (72 hours) prior to the start of the class, course, or workshop ($15.00 processing fee will apply) or apply the entire amount to a future class of their choosing within the calendar year. If the Universe changes its mind: • If ONE of MORE CLASSES are canceled due to unforeseen events (power outage, natural disaster, other calamities) and students are unable to attend the rescheduled event, they can: a) email Francesca@myadultedschool.com for special arrangements b) email Francesca@myadultedschool.com to request the refund of the equivalent for the canceled class(es). • If an ENTIRE COURSE/WORKSHOP is canceled prior to its start due to unforeseen events (power outage, natural disaster, other calamities), a full refund will be issued. • If a COURSE/WORKSHOP is partially canceled due to unforeseen events (power outage, natural disaster, other calamities), a refund will be issued for the equivalent of the canceled classes.
